Early bird tickets for this year’s pantomime in Kettering are already on sale, eight months before the show.

The Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering will be entertaining audiences with its production of Peter Pan this year from December 8 to 30.

Audiences will be taken on a magical journey to Neverland with Tinker Bell, Wendy and, of course, Peter Pan himself in order to get into the festive spirit.

Lucy Hatfield, theatre manager at the Lighthouse, said: “Peter Pan is a wonderful story full of magic and excitement.

“We can’t wait for the adventure to unfold on the Lighthouse stage.

“It will be a fun, family friendly, traditional pantomime and certainly value for money.”

This year will mark the third professional pantomime the theatre has staged, and will be produced by Paul Hammond Productions.

The previous pantomimes the Lighthouse Theatre has presented were Aladdin and Cinderella.

After the success of Cinderella last Christmas which featured celebrity couple Christine and Neil Hamilton and actor Danny Young, the theatre has decided to release early bird tickets this month at special prices in order to ensure that people book early to avoid disappointment.

Paul Hammond, the producer of the show, said: “Peter Pan has sold out across the country.”

Although the cast for this year has not yet been announced, a line-up of star names will soon be revealed in the next few weeks.

Parents will receive a kids go free voucher for Drayton Manor Park as a bonus when buying their children’s tickets.

The theatre is giving families the chance to make extra savings this year with their early bird ticket offers.

There are many family savings to be had and children’s tickets will be priced at £10. The offer will continue until October 31.

The Lighthouse Theatre is also giving local children the chance to be part of the action, with auditions being organised by the producers of the show for the roles of lost boys and Indians. The auditions will be held on September 16.
