The townspeople of Kettering are in for a treat this Halloween when Dracula arrives at the Masque Theatre in Barton Seagrave on October 30 and 31 and November 1.
The show is being performed by C&D Productions, a theatre company based in Northants and who are performing at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016, with a score of local productions also planned for next year.
Imagine a world where you can only go out after dark, where you feel a constant hunger for human blood but where for all eternity you will appear young and beautiful.
Welcome to the world of Dracula! A creature who should inspire repulsion in every living thing but who has seduced countless generations, Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire lives on in this extraordinary adaptation.
Artistic director Chris Lynch said: “It’s a very exciting, engaging and entertaining production, featuring a fantastically talented cast of actors from across the county.
“There’s vampires, sword fights, dark and mysterious settings – what more can an audience want for Halloween in Kettering?”
Each performance starts at 7.30pm with doors opening at 7.10pm and tickets are available on the door (cash only).
Chris said: “This show also marks the start of Community 25, a scheme launching which commits to making free tickets available for our shows to local charities such as MIND Kettering whose users are coming to the show ‘on us’.
“Anyone wanting to get involved in acting or volunteering to help can contact us via the website too.”
