Tim Burton’s extraordinary and magical tale Edward Scissorhands is performed as a stage show at Milton Keynes Theatre later this month.

The story of a young man with scissors for hands trying to find acceptance is brought to life in a production devised, directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne.

The production, by New Adventures, stars Dominic North and Liam Mower in the title role.

Dominic won a National Dance Award nomination for Best Male Dancer when he previously performed the role. Liam starred in Billy Elliot Live when he was younger and recently returned to the show in the “Older Billy” role.

Edward’s sweetheart Kim Boggs is played by Ashley Shaw and Katy Lowenhoff.

Ashley has previously played Aurora in Sleeping Beauty and Katy has played Clara in Nutcracker.

The music is by Terry Davies and also includes themes from the film soundtrack by Danny Elfman.

The show is on from Feburary 17 to 21. For tickets call 0844 871 7652 or visit www.
