Audiences are invited to find out more about exactly what is lurking inside a piano when a certain “monstrously good” show comes to The Castle in Wellingborough.
There’s A Monster In My Piano tells the story of a doctor who is called in to investigate a munching noise inside a piano.
He might be able to help, with his bag full of ears and his collection of weird and wonderful tools, but when he looks inside, the musical notes are packing their bags and running away. What are they scared of and who is hammering at the keys? Starring puppets, music, clowning and animation, as well as one highly strung piano munching monster, this jazzy tale promises to leave audiences enthralled.
This is the latest children’s production to be staged by the company Garlic Theatre.
Performances will take place on Saturday at 11am and 2pm. There’s A Monster In My Piano is said to be ideal for anyone aged four and up.
Tickets cost £8.50 or £6.50. Family tickets cost £25 for two adults and two children. To buy tickets or to find out more about the show, call the box office on 01933 270007 or visit the theatre’s website on www.thecastle.org.uk
