The Spooky Men's Chorale
The Spooky Men's Chorale

Aussie natives The Spooky Men’s Chorale will be exploring the paradoxes of latter day masculinity through their combination of musical sensibilities, cavernous vocal chords and extreme silliness at The Stables this weekend.

Formed in 2001, it is the band’s sixth visit to the UK and they are touring in support of their new album Warm which is out now.

Their repertoire is described as a roller coaster of massive, hair-raising Georgian harmonies, immaculate ballads and vaudevillian nonsense.

Support is by former Golden Fiddle award winner and former Circus Oz performer, Jenny M Thomas.

All play the Wavendon venue on Saturday, August 29.

Doors open at 8pm, admission is £21.50 before fees.

Tickets are on sale for The Misfitz who play the venue on Friday, September 4.

The charity show will be helping to raise money in memory of the band’s founder member, Charles Francis.
