By The Rivers take their modern reggae sounds to The Castle in Wellingborough on Friday night.
The band was formed in Leicester in 2010 by Nile Barrow and Jordan Birtles.
By the end of the year they had supported the likes of The Beat, The Buzzcocks, Neville Staple and the Fun Lovin’ Criminals.
Since the release of their debut album in May 2013, they have been relentlessly gigging to packed-out venues and festival stages throughout the UK and Europe.
This included a set on the ‘BBC Introducing’ stage at the Glastonbury Festival.
They played in Northampton last year, as main support for Madness at the County Cricket ground and also toured with jazz singer/pianist Jamie Cullum.
Doors open at 8pm, tickets cost £10 and are available in advance by calling 01933 270 007 or online at www.thecastle.org.uk.
On Thursday, October 30, Chris Pearce’s Frenchmen Street Jazz Band will bring an evening of hot swinging traditional jazz to the venue.
Doors open at 8pm, tickets cost £12.50.
