Hailed by aficionados as Europe’s foremost blues harmonica exponent, Paul Lamb and his long standing musical compatriots, the King Snakes, are back on the road and bring their soulful blues to The Castle next week.
Paul Lamb came out of Blyth, Northumberland, forming firstly the Blues Burglars and then the King Snakes.
Eventually relocating to London, his band now comprises of Ryan Lamb on guitar, Chad Strentz on vocals and rhythm guitar, Rod Demick on bass and Dino Coccia on drums.
Almost three decades and more than 14 albums later, the band is acknowledged as among the best purveyors of rhythm and blues and continue to entertain their growing army of fans.
