The View return to the Roadmender in Northampton on Friday to play at the Propaganda club night.

Dundee school mates Kyle Falconer, Kieren Webster, Pete Reilly and drummer Steve Morrison formed The View in 2005.

Their hugely successful, Mercury-nominated, number one debut album, Hats Off To The Buskers spawned hits including Same Jeans and Wasted Little DJs.

Its 2009 follow up Which Bitch? combined ramshackle folk-punk to sea shanties while 2011’s Bread And Circuses saw the band team up with Youth at London’s Britannia Studios.

Their latest album, Cheeky For A Reason, was released last year and a compilation of their finest moments entitled Seven Year Setlist is out this month which contains four new songs.

Doors open at 10.30pm and advance tickets cost £5.
