Belfast punks Stiff Little Fingers are out on tour and return to the Roadmender on Saturday.
The band released their tenth studio album No Going Back in 2014 .
They formed in 1977 and along with the likes of the Clash and Sex Pistols were at the forefront of the original punk movement, initially writing about their own lives, growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Despite disbanding in 1983, singer and guitarist Jake Burns and bassist Ali McMordie played some reunion shows four years later, with the band then continuing to record and tour.
To mark the 25 anniversary of their annual St Patrick’s Day shows at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom, Stiff Little Fingers have set up a Pledge Music campaign to help fund a DVD and CD release of the show. For details visit http://bit.ly/SLFpunk.
Stiff Little Fingers play Northampton venue on Saturday, March 5.
Doors open at 7pm, advance tickets cost £18.50. To book, visit http://theroadmender.com
