Legendary artists from the 70s, 80s and 90s will be performing live at the grounds of Rockingham Castle.
The Flashback Festival takes place over the weekend of Saturday, July 9, and Sunday, July 10, and will see Billy Ocean headline on the festival’s first night and The Human League on the Sunday.
Aside from the two headliners, Kim Wilde, Soul II Soul and Paul Carrack are lined up to appear over the two days.
Billy Ocean is a rhythm and blues star who produced a number of pop hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
In addition to performing songs, he has also written material for the likes of Boyzone, Marti Pellow and The Nolans.
The Human League are a electronica new wave band that were formed in Sheffield in 1977 and had a number of hits throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s. Their biggest smash hit was Don’t You Want Me which was a number one both here in the UK and the USA.
There have been a number of members over the years and the current line up is original member Philip Oakey as well as Susan Ann Sulley and Joanne Catherall.
Flashback will make its Rockingham debut this summer and although the event appears at the venue for the first time, this established festival has been running at other venues for the last seven years.
Along with an array of music, Flashback offers a range of other facilities such as camping, VIP camping, themed bars and a selection of food stalls to choose from.
But if the sun goes down and you are still in the mood to party then people can head over to the silent disco.
The silent disco phenomenon has taken the festival world by storm over recent years and can be found at most major festivals including Flashback Festival Rockingham.
Tickets to the event are £43 for a day pass or £80 for a weekend pass. Children under the age of 14 can go free, however, they will need a ticket to enter.
Entrance to the silent disco is £10 per day or £20 for both days. They should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
