Young singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Louise Jordan, headlines The Kontra Roots Club tomorrow night.
Jordan is rapidly making an impact on the UK acoustic music scene with songs which are bold, honest, intense and haunting in their simplicity.
With a gift for empathy and storytelling and with arrangements that employ her skills on guitar, piano and cello, it is her voice that is most often celebrated as the pinnacle of her sound.
Support is by Italian singer-songwriter, Franc Cinelli.
His work encompasses folk, country and rock ‘n’ roll and his latest album earned him support from BBC Radio 2 and saw him play an extensive European and North American tour, ending at the Royal Albert Hall.
