BRIT-POP stars, Space, headline Bedford’s Esquires tomorrow night.

The platinum-selling band came to prominence in the mid-1990s indie scene and had a series of hits including Female of the Species, Neighbourhood, Avenging Angels, Me and You Verses the World and The Ballad of Tom Jones.

After parting ways around the turn of the century, they reformed last year and have a new album, Revenge of the Mutant Kebab, due out this month. The line-up features original band members Tommy Scott, Jamie Murphy and Franny Griffiths, along with Phil Hartley, Ryan Clarke and drummer Allan Jones.

Support is by Sweet Sweet Lies. Tickets cost £13 in advance, from the venue or Doors 8pm.
