Red Gold and Green gig at Esquires

Hotly-tipped indie hip-hop act, RDGLDGRN, headline Bedford’s Esquires tomorrow night.

RDGLDGRN broke out of the Washington DC scene with their mixture of hip-hop infused punk and indie rock.

Comprised of three members who identify as Red, Gold, and Green, RDGLDGRN began making music in their basement studio, drawing on influences including Outkast, The Neptunes, and Bad Brains.

The band’s album was co-written by Pharrell William with Dave Grohl playing drums on it.

Within three weeks, their debut single, I Love Lamp, had clocked up 400,000 hits on YouTube.

RDGLDGRN are in the UK for six shows ahead of joining up with the Warped Tour.

Support is by Karl Phillips & The Midnight Ramblers, Zedo and Gingerbread men.
