Pearl Jam to headline National Bowl

US rock icons Pearl Jam headline the National Bowl in Milton Keynes tonight (Friday).

The band are in the UK to play two shows as part of an 11-date European tour.

Pearl Jam released their 10th studio album Lightning Bolt last year. It was their first studio album in four years and it debuted at number two in the UK charts.

They comprise of singer Eddie Vedder, guitarists Stone Gossard and Mike McCready, bassist Jeff Ament and drummer Matt Cameron.

Their 1991 debut album, Ten, has sold more than 10 million copies and featured the singles Alive, Even Flow and Jeremy.

Support is by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and hardcore punk supergroup Off which features Black Flag singer Keith Morris.
