Oxjam gigs will help to raise charity funds

A series of gigs to help raise money for Oxfam will take place across Northampton in the next few weeks.

The first is at The Picturedrome, in Kettering Road, tomorrow. Will Rogers will be followed by Party In Paris and Puppet Rebellion, before The Scholars headline.

Tickets cost £3 in advance. Doors open at 7.30pm. They are available from www.buytickets.at/oxjam.

On Sunday, The Penny Whistle pub will hold a fund-raising event featuring Will Rogers, Lou Bird, Sam Amos, The Attempt and Ian Bourne.

Doors open at 8pm and admission is £2.

In November, the Labour Club will host a night of Americana/folk, featuring sets by host Lew Bear, Phoebe Louise, Fran Taylor, Apollo’s Mob and Kenneth J Nash. All will play on Friday, November 15.

Tickets cost £3 and doors open at 8pm.

The Racehorse pub is also due to hold a show on Sunday, November 10.
