Four outdoor shows take place at The Stables in Wavendon this weekend as part of the venue’s Music in The Garden 2013 season.
The season is hosted by Dame Cleo Laine in the venue’s Old Rectory garden.
On Saturday afternoon, the Alan Barnes Trio will play. The act features Alan Barnes on saxophone, Dave Newton on piano and Paul Clarvis on drums.
Tickets cost £12. Doors open at 11am.
Later the same day, Liane Carroll will play from 1.30pm.
Carroll has won numerous jazz awards including the 2008 Parliamentary Jazz Award for musician of the year, Best Female Vocalist and Best of Jazz at the BBC Jazz Awards in 2005. Tickets cost £15.
Saturday’s outdoor shows conclude with the Buck Clayton Legacy Band.
For this show, the band - formed in 2004 by bassist Alyn Shipton and saxophonist Matthias Seuffert - will re-explore Clayton’s music and delves into that Kansas City blues legacy.
Music from 3pm, tickets cost £15 . All day tickets for all three shows cost £36.
