Thousands of music fans are expected to head to Weldonfest next month where more than 50 bands will entertain the crowds.
New to the festival on Saturday, June 22, are a doom stage and a 15 Minutes of Fame music tent to showcase younger and newer acts, as well as a larger children’s tent.
Robert Burke, one of the volunteers who organise the festival, said: “We’ve made several changes after the bad weather last year.
“We’re expecting around 4,000 people, possibly, more.
“We hope people will come along and enjoy Weldonfest which supports the community.”
Since the first festival in 2007 the event has raised £75,000 for charity.
Fifty acts will play on a main stage and in acoustic, dance and indie, metal and punk music tents at the event at Corby Rugby Club.
Weldonfest will feature out-of-town headliners with The Moderators, El Camino and The Crooked Empire closing each area.
Tickets are £12 for people aged 18 and over, £6 for 13 to 17-year-olds, with no charge for children aged 12 and under accompanied by an adult.
They are available online at wegottickets.com and at The Chocolate Shop in The Jamb, Corby Old Village, The White Hart pub in the High Street and from Corby Radio in Corporation Street.
