The Blues Band headline the Kettering Arts Centre this Saturday.
The band was formed in 1979 by ex-Manfred Mann members, Paul Jones and Tom McGuinness, with the intention to play a few pub gigs.
They have gone on to release more than 20 albums and are renowned as one of the finest blues acts playing across the world.
Jones and McGuiness are joined by slide guitar ace and vocalist Dave Kelly with Gary Fletcher on bass.
Rob Townsend of Family fame replaced Hughie Flint in 1982 on drums.
Their new studio album, Few Short Lines, is out now and features guests including Al Kooper, Southside Johnny and Scottish soul diva, Maggie Bell
Over the years they have toured with Dire Straits and headlined at the Glastonbury Festival.
