The Kontra Roots Club returns today with a headline set by The Rosellys.

The duo, of Rebecca Rosewell and Simon Kelly, are old friends of the club, who will be taking their Americana back to the venue. They play original songs with a country feel, mixed with a rhythmic acoustic folk sound.

Rebecca’s vocals deliver up-tempo numbers and gorgeous ballads.

Support is by Andrew Duhon and Chris Chambers.

Duhon, from New Orleans, is described as a ‘soulful, mesmerising world-class talent’.

Making up the bill, Leicestershire-based veteran musician, Chambers, will be playing English roots music tangled up with Americana.

Kontra is at Kennedy’s Bar, Irthlingborough Road, Finedon.

Music begins at 8pm and admission is free. Visit www.kbcworld.co.uk for details.
