The Kontra Roots Club returns on Friday after a short summer break with a headline set by Chris Conway.
The epitome of a renaissance man musician, singer-songwriter Conway combines new age, jazz, Celtic, world music and electronic.
This genre hopping keeps him below many people’s radar, but there is a growing crowd of those in the know who enjoy the relentless creative flow of his music.
Conway has sold more than 55,000 CDs worldwide and released more than 80 CDs under his own name or with his bands.
He has worked with members of Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention.
