Globe trotters Halo Halo return for Labour Club gig

Halo Halo return to the Labour Club in Northampton on Friday.

The globe-trotting London/Northants trio’s debut album is out now. They feature members of Columbus & Crusoe and Trash Kit and have supported the likes of Marnie Stern and Electrelane.

They use drums, bass, keyboards, a banjo and loads of reverb vocals to create a tripped-out eastern pop vibe.

Support is by Fulhäst, aka Nik Vestberg, a one-man DIY-pop force of nature, singing songs over the bleeps and beats of a Gameboy console.

Making up the bill is Northampton’s own Anguish Sandwich, who will be opening proceedings.

Doors open at 8pm, admission is £3. (Event for members and their guests).
