Frontman of 1970s glam rock act, The Rubettes, Alan Williams, will play a solo acoustic show at the Masque Theatre this weekend.
The Rubettes sold more than 30 million records and had 15 hit records.
In celebration of their 40th anniversary, Williams is on a headline tour across the country which is at the Masque in Kettering on Sunday. He will play acoustic renditions of many Rubettes hits including Sugar Baby Love, Tonight, Juke Box Jive and Baby I Know along with other songs.
There are currently two versions of the bands touring.
The line up with the most original members features Williams, John Richardson and Mick Clarke and they still play across Europe.
An acoustic guitar played and signed by Williams will be raffled on the night with all proceeds going to Kettering’s Cransley Hospice.
Tickets costs £12 and doors open at 7.30pm.
