Fairweather Low to headline Stables gig

Andy Fairweather Low headlines The Stables in Wavendon this weekend.

Low first came to prominence at the vanguard of the new youthful expression of music as the lead singer in Amen Corner.

The 1960s saw them clock up hit after pop hit including Bend Me Shape Me, Hello Suzy, ( If Paradise is ) Half As Nice are internationally remembered to this day.

Since then, he has gone on to work with the likes of Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Joe Cocker and Phil Collins.

Now following a solo path, his latest album Zone-O-Tone was released earlier this year which also saw his band open for Eric Clapton.

On Saturday, he will be playing with his band The Low Riders which include Dave Bronze, Paul Beavis and Nick Pentelow.

Andy Fairweather Low plays on Saturday, November 23. Doors open at 8pm and tickets cost £22.50.
