The Cuttings Family headline The Great kNight Folk Club on Tuesday.

The act was the singing progeny of the popular 1980s folk ensemble, The Green Grass Band.

With founder members Bud and Lynne Abbott and Alan Horton, augmented by Simon Loake and Bob Plews, the Cuttings have managed to retain their love of performing and have regrouped many times over the past two decades to produce storming sets at major folk festivals.

They perform as five voices in unaccompanied harmony or with subtle backing from guitars, keyboard and dulcimer.

The GKFC is at The Old White Hart Inn, Cotton End, Northampton.

Admission is £6 and doors open at 8pm.
