The Craufurd Arms celebrates its re-launch this weekend with a three-day beer and cider festival.

After several weeks of hard work and redecoration, the Milton Keynes venue will be officially re-opening with a host of bands joining the party.

Craufurd owner, Jason Hall, said: “We’ve re-modelled The Craufurd, freshened it up and given it a new classy decor.

“The main focus is still live music and focusing on creating a live music hub, being able to offer artists and comedians a one-stop venue to rehearse, record and play live with accommodation.

“Over the coming months we will be upgrading the PA again and lighting in both the bar and the venue to ensure we are one of the first choice stops on the touring circuit.”

Tomorrow night, Chas Hodges – one half of ‘rockney’ duo Chas & Dave – will headline the main venue, (£9) while The Lucid Dream will play in the main bar.

The Saturday night will be headlined by punk velveteens, the Anti Nowhere League, with support from Dun2Def (£8)

In the main bar, The Pear Tree Bridge Family will play.

The Wurzels will headline the Sunday night entertainment (£10) with Ed Tudor Pole playing in the main bar.

During the weekend, there will be a large array of beers and ciders and organisers hope to have a hog roast and barbecue during the weekend.
