Christmas looks set to go with a musical swing this month as the festive season gets underway with plenty of concerts for audiences to enjoy.

The annual concert by Raunds Temperance Band is set to be held at St Mary’s Church in High Street, Little Addington on Saturday, December 7. This is a change from the original date of Saturday, December 14.

The event has been advertised as a “lovely cheerful evening with a huge Christmas tree lit”.

A wide variety of music will be played, including carols and seasonal music.

The concert will start at 7.30pm.

Classical music will be on the programme for a concert at St Mary’s Church in Rushden, scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 30, at 7.30pm.

The event will be the Sound Sensation concert party of the Kettering Operatic Society (now known as the KOS Musical Theatre Company). The concert will also include songs from the shows as well as pop and contemporary tunes.

Tickets cost £7, including a glass of wine and nibbles. Tickets cost 01933 652222. Proceeds will go to the church and the society.
