As Britain’s Got Talent once again graces our screens, with acts hoping not to fall foul of the judges’ critical eyes, one of its past competitors will be performing in Northamptonshire this weekend.
It was four years ago when Helena Leonard was praised as “world class” by Piers Morgan, following her performance as half of the group Floral Highnotes, an act which made it to the semi-finals.
And this Saturday audiences at Loder Hall, Maidwell, will be able to enjoy hearing the soprano sing in a show which follows the life of early 20th century singer Florence Easton and includes many well known classical arias. Next month will see the return of the Northampton Music Festival and this year it will include an additional stage focused on classical music.
