The Charlatans frontman, Tim Burgess, headlines Bedford’s Esquires on Tuesday.

Burgess has spent the past two decades as the frontman of the iconic band, also finding time to release two solo albums, most recently 2012’s critically acclaimed, Oh No I Love You.

Recorded with Kurt Wagner from Lambchop, the record is a beautiful mix of wide-eyed Northern melancholy and country-tinged soul, topped with Burgess’s unmistakable vocals.

Support is by Hatcham Social, who will also be Burgess’s backing band for the night.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets cost £16 in advance from the venue or via We Got Tickets.
