Some of the world’s biggest names in drum and bass music are to come to Kettering next month.

Intense Presents has managed to secure six big-name artists to perform at The Loft in Dalkeith Place in March.

Sub Zero, Evil B, The Prototypes, Original Sin, Cyantific and Skibadee are all set to sell out the 300-capacity venue on Saturday, March 21.

Rhys Alford, manager of Intense Presents, said: “I’ve always wanted to be able to bring some of the biggest names within the genres I love to my home town, and with the co-operation of The Loft, this has been made possible.

“I’m looking to be running big events every month now in conjunction with The Loft.

“I always try to be ambitious, as bringing the best possible names to the town is the priority. However, you need to stay realistic with what you’re spending.”

Intense Presents has already seen BBC Radio 1’s drum and bass frontman Friction perform at The Loft, as well as grime artist P Money.

Alford is certain the event will be the biggest night of the year, saying the town is in for a ‘treat’.
