Veteran Merseybeat quartet, The Searchers, headline The Lighthouse in Kettering this weekend.

The band rose to prominence in the 1960s alongside the Beatles, Hollies and Gerry and the Pacemakers.

Some of their biggest hits included Sweet For My Sweet, Needles And Pins and When You Walk In The Room.

The band’s line-up has changed frequently since it was formed at the end of the 1950s.

The quartet currently comprises of rhythm guitar and singer, Spencer James, guitarist John McNally, bassist Frank Allen and drummer, Scott Ottaway.

The show is expected to include all their famous hits, B-sides and a selection of other well-known favourites.

The Searchers play The Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering this Sunday, June 8
