Joan Armatrading is currently playing shows across the UK as part of her ‘last major tour’ which heads to The Stables in Wavendon for two nights next Tuesday and Wednesday.
The singer-songwriter has been nominated for numerous Grammy’s and Brit awards during her career as well as receiving an Ivor Novello Award in the mid 1990s.
The guitarist said: “These will be lively interactive concerts because I will be asking the audience to put their questions to me on the night.
“I have absolutely enjoyed the last 42 years of performances, but now, with my final major tour, I want to capture a unique memory for both myself and the audience.”

On Monday, Nerina Pallot headlines the venue.
The singer-songwriter has been writing, recording an releasing an EP each month this year.
The latest, Small Things, was released at the end of last month.
Pallott has also been handcrafting the artwork for each EP.
Support is by Jodie Marie and Samuel Taylor, whose debut EP, Tilt The Moon, is out now.
