Enjoy a tour of the stunning Cottesbrooke Hall gardens with head gardener Phylip Statner.

He will be conducting free tours of the gardens at its National Garden Scheme event on Sunday.

The tours will take place between 2pm and 5.30pm.

The tours are free, but there is an admission charge of £5.50 for adults, £5 for concessions and £3 for children up to the age of 14.

The tours can be booked on arrival and spaces are limited, so are on a first come, first served basis.

Cottesbrooke Hall Gardens won the Christies garden of the year award in 2000, but have undergone major regeneration work since then.

On the tour, Phylip will explain the work that has taken place and the improvements made to the grounds.

Home-made cakes and hot and cold drinks are available from The Old Laundry between 2.30pm and 5pm on open days.

Cottesbrooke Hall is off junction one of the A14, near Creaton.
