Another series of The Great British Bake Off might be over, but a theatre show for the under-three’s will bring cake-making to life.
Curious is a show for very young children and those young at heart, designed to introduce youngsters to the world of theatre, which is coming to The Castle Theatre in Wellingborough.
Young children and their families can journey into a playfully imaginative world where kitchen meets garden, where dirt is good, and where messiness mischievously conjures the perfect birthday surprise on Tuesday, November 10.
A play with few words, Curious is a laugh-out-loud experience for the very young and the curiously inquisitive. It also explores cake making as you have never seen before.
At the end of the performance, children are invited on to the stage to create their own recipes by digging in soft, moist soil themselves.
Highly-acclaimed touring production, Tam Tam Theatre, are putting on the show.
The company was first set up in 1993 by Marleen Vermeulen, who is originally from Belgium.
In the past three years, Tam Tam has started to focus upon creating work non-verbal work for very young children including babies.
Curious is an intimate, light-hearted short play for under-3s.
It will be followed by an interactive free-play session where the children are invited to explore the tactile world of Curious.
There will be three performances of Curious starting at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 4.30pm all on the same day.
Tickets for the show are available at a cost of £5.
They can be purchased by calling the box office on 01933 270007 or going online to www.thecastle.org.uk where more information about the show is available.
