Great Knight Folk returns for its Autumn season next week with a headline set by singer songwriter and poet Kirsty Gallacher.

The Coventry native released her latest album, The Game, in March last year which followed her 2012 LP Spinning Plates.

The prolific songwriter formed her own record label Broken Player Records in 2008.

Gallacher has previously supported the likes of Ed Sheeran, Mr Big and Miles and Erica from the Wonderstuff.

She also won the LG Arena’s singer songwriter competition and played before Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood and John Mayer on separate nights at the Birmingham area, before being invited back to play before more major acts.

Great Knight Folk is on Tuesday, September 1 at The Old White Hart Inn in Cotton End, Northampton.

Doors open at 8pm, tickets cost £8 on the door.
