Nineties indie act Echobelly will be playing an intimate warm-up gig in the region this weekend ahead of a gig next week at the Scala in London.
Fronted by Sonya Madan, the band enjoyed a hugely successful career during the 90s with hits including Great Things, I Can’t Imagine The World Without Me and King Of The Kerb.
Their debut album Everyone’s Got One was released in 1994, with On following in 1995 and Lustra in 1997.
They toured with the likes of Blur, Oasis and REM with further albums following in 2001 and 2004 following a hiatus.
Echobelly play Esquires in Bedford on Sunday, October 4.
It will be the first time since 1994 that the band has played the venue.
The show will be a ‘full band’ performance and not an acoustic show.
Tickets cost £12 in advance before fees and are available SeeTickets, WeGotTIckets and direct from the venue.
