Singer-songwriter John Otway headlines the Craufurd Arms tomorrow night.
Otway has built a sizeable cult audience through extensive touring, a surreal sense of humour and a self-deprecating underdog persona.
Originally working with Wild Willy Barrett in the early 1970s, The Who’s Peter Townshend produced a number of the pair’s songs with Otway going onto release a number of albums via Polydor Record.
Hundreds of live shows, albums, biographies and films have followed since.
To celebrate his 60th birthday in 2012, Otway booked the Odeon Leicester Square to show the documentary of his life, titled Rock and Roll’s Greatest Failure: Otway the Movie.
John Otway & The Big Band play the Wolverton venue on Friday, December 4
Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets cost £10 in advance before fees.
