Classic love story is performed in the open air at popular hall

A classic story written by Charlotte Bronte has been adapted for a performance to be held outdoors.

The Chapterhouse Theatre Company is bringing Jane Eyre to Kirby Hall near to Corby on Friday September 4.

Young governess Jane Eyre arrives at the mysterious Thornfield Hall deep in the Yorkshire moors and meets enigmatic Mr Rochester. So begins this most unforgettable of love stories.

When a secret from the past returns to haunt them, can Jane and Rochester’s passion survive the forces that might tear them apart forever?

The company specialise in giving new life to some of literature’s best loved classics in magical outdoor performances that are great fun for all the family.

Gates open at 6pm with the performance starting at 7pm. People are advised to bring their own rugs or low-backed seating.

Tickets in advance are £13 for adults and £11 for concessions and children. Prices on the gate are an extra £2.
