Award winning acoustic roots trio from Canada My Sweet Patootie headline Kettering’s Arts Centre on Friday.

The trio comprise guitarist Terry Young, violinist Sandra Swannell and drummer Anthony Thickett.

They play a mixture of contemporary roots and ragtime music combining tight harmonies, vintage folk, Americana and jazz.

My Sweet Patootie was formed in 2007 by Canadian Folk Music Award winners Swannell and Young.

They released their third album Good Day in 2013, their first as a trio, and last year they joined the Georgian Bay Symphony to perform orchestrated versions of their songs.

Kettering Arts Centre is in St Andrews Church on the corner of Rockingham Road and Lindsay Street.

Doors open at 7.30pm and advance tickets cost £12 before fees.
