Jeremy Hancock, Billie Stevenson, Katie Boyce and Katie Lewis all got into the swing of the new exhibition at the Alfred East Gallery in Kettering.
The exhibition, entitled #selfies, explores the history of the traditional self-portrait, or selfie.
It uses some of the portraits from the gallery’s permanent collection to discover the stories behind the faces, and looks back on how they first started and how they have progressed to today’s trend.
Having learned more about the 50 faces that peer down from the walls of the gallery, exhibition goers are being encouraged to take their own selfie to go on display alongside the painted versions.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, February 21, and is free.
The Alfred East Gallery is open from 10am to 4.45pm Tuesday to Saturday and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
