A 15-year-old Wellingborough schoolgirl has achieved sporting success by being selected to play for the England under-17 netball squad.
Wrenn pupil Jaydene Robinson began playing netball when she first started at the school.
Her talent was instantly recognised by PE teachers and she was sent for county trials.
Soon after she began representing the county and was eventually spotted by national scouts.
The school’s dance co-ordinator, Hayley Miller, said everyone at the school was very proud of her achievement.
She added: “Jaydene is the only girl who made it through to the England squad from the East Midlands region – a massive achievement. She has put a massive amount of hard work into playing netball to achieve this success.”
