Soul trio The Real Thing at Deco

Forty years on from first making their mark on the UK music scene with their number one hit, You To Me Are Everything, The Real Thing return to Northampton on Saturday to headline The Deco.

The Real Thing were formed in 1970 in Liverpool by Chris Amoo and Dave Smith, and were joined a couple of years later by Chris’s brother, Eddie.

In 2014, the soul trio played in front of thousands in the town at Alive At Delapre, where they were joined by the likes of Bananarama, Rick Astley, Paul Young, Boney M and T'Pau.

Other famous hits include Can You Feel The Force, Raining In My Sunshine and Can’t Get By Without You.

Jill Roach, from Northampton based Stage Right Productions said: “It’s our privilege to be staging them at The Deco.

“It’s going to be a great evening, with a fantastic party atmosphere.”

Doors at 7.30pm, adult tickets cost from £23.50 with concessions available.
