The Overtones will be celebrating a decade together with a UK tour which heads to Royal & Derngate next year.

Since bursting onto the UK music scene, the quartet have racked up platinum record sales, released six studio albums, sold out tours across the nation, performed for the Queen and established themselves as one of the UK’s most popular live acts.

Despite previously having headlined some of the most prestigious venues across the country and singing to one million people at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, The Overtones feel there’s still more to achieve and will mark their tenth anniversary with a 20 date UK tour.

In 2019 the group welcomed new member Jay James - who also became a household name after working with musicians like John Legend and becoming a finalist on The X Factor.

Speaking about the 10th anniversary of the band, he said: “2021 is all about bringing back the feel good and that's what The Overtones do best.

“As we celebrate the past, dance in the present and sing for the future, we are so excited and blessed to give The Overtones family their best night yet.”

James is joined in the group by Mark Crawshaw, Darren Everest and Mike Franks

Together, they have mastered the mix of originality with classic nostalgia.

Combined with their charm, dance moves and perfectly-pitched harmonies - their performances and style have helped deliver sell out successes across the globe.

Like many other acts, 2020 meant cancelled tours and releases for The Overtones, but with a newly recharged band and an excitement of what’s to come in their anniversary year, the group can’t wait to be back on the road.

Mark Franks added: “We can’t wait to finally get to sing, dance and party together with you all.

“It’s been a long time coming and there really ain’t no party like an Overtones party.”
