Little Red Riding Hood runs from Wednesday to Saturday, December 7 to 10. There is, of course, a Big Bad Wolf running riot through the show, so there’s plenty to get your teeth into.

There are also three pigs, an outrageous Dame and plenty of silly jokes.

Although everyone in the show will be running scared from the wolf, the director John Myhill has made sure that, as a family show, they won’t be giving their younger audience members nightmares.

“We’ve found a great wolf costume at The Works which looks just like a cartoon character, so he’s scary and cuddly at the same time,” said John.

“During rehearsals the cast tried their best to look frightened, but more often than not they laughed at him!”

It takes place at Duston Community Centre with performances at 7.30pm each evening and a matinee starting at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Tickets are available from the group’s website by visiting www.dustonplayers.org.uk or alternatively by calling the box office on 07464 859017.
