Donovan sings at the Derngate

Jason Donovan will be playing the hits from his iconic album Ten Good Reasons at the Derngate on Sunday.

The album, which has gone five times platinum since its release, was the biggest selling record of 1989.

It remains a massive fan favourite and includes the number one singles Too Many Broken Hearts and Sealed with a Kiss.

It also featured the duet with Kylie Minogue, Especially for You, which also topped the charts.

It will be first time Donavan has toured as a solo artist for six years and the first time he has ever toured the Ten Good Reasons album.

He said: “The response to the tour has been totally overwhelming.

“I have been shocked and humbled by the speed at which these shows sold.

“Ten Good Reasons was life changing for me the first time around and it’s already proving to be life changing again.”

As well as songs from Ten Good Reasons, he will be playing a selection of his other biggest hits.

Pop star, actor and a musical lead Donovan shot to superstardom as the blue-eyed, blonde-haired heartthrob in the Aussie soap Neighbours.

Dillie Keane will headline the venue’s Royal stage on Tuesday March 1.

The award winning jazz singer and BBC Radio Host released her latest album At Your Request last year.

The 80s Invasion tour will bring Big Country, Midge Ure, Nick Heyward and Curiosity Killed The Cat,to the Dernaget stage on Friday, March 4.
