Crofts is best known for his band The Moons and for being part of Paul Weller’s live band.

In recent years he’s joined Weller playing across the world and on recent releases, including 2018’s True Meanings and 2017’s A King Revolution.

Speaking last year about The Moons, Crofts talked about progress on the follow up to 2014’s Mindwaves LP and hopes the band’s fourth record will be released this year.

In November he explained he was busy doing the final mixes for the record, which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios earlier in 2019.

Support at the Northampton venue is by Velvet Engine and Joe B Humbled.

Velvet Engine is the brainchild of Latina Northamptonian San-D Godoy.

In 2012 she released her debut album Glimpse Of The Sun, a collection of songs described as “yearning alt-folk, with a sprightly but reflective soul”.

Counting Laura Marling, Neil Young and Daughter among her many influences, she released her second EP This Old Hat in 2014, followed by her third EP Good People in 2017.
