Bands line up for gigs at Stables

A few tickets remain for singer-songwriter Martyn Joseph who headlines The Stables as part of Independent Venue Week on Saturday.

Dubbed ‘The Welsh Springsteen’, Joseph also shows influences such as John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn and Dave Matthews. His latest album Sanctuary was released last year. He plays the venue on Saturday, January 30.

Doors open at 8pm, tickets cost £2.80 in advance before fees.

Next Thursday, Christian Garrick & the Budapest Café Orchestra (pictured) headline the Wavendon venue.

Led by jazz violin superstar Christian Garrick, the band play traditional folk and gypsy-flavoured music from across the Balkans and Russia.

Doors open at 8pm, tickets cost £16 in advance before fees.

On Saturday, February 6, The Mods Band will be playing hits from some of the 1960’s biggest names at the venue.

Expect songs by the likes of The Small Faces, The Who, The Kinks and The Animals.
