Almond, Ellis-Bextor and Tunstall to play Flashpoint Festival at Rockingham Castle

Deacon Blue, Marc Almond, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and KT Tunstall are among the names who will headline the Flashpoint Festival at Rockingham Castle this summer.

Organisers have announced details of the festival which will take place in July and follows the success of the Flashback Festival at the site last year.

Other acts due to play include ABC, Hue & Cry and Clem Curtis & The Foundations.

Most of the acts will be playing on the Saturday and Sunday, however, DJ Trevor Nelson hosting an opening party for the festival on the Friday night.

KT Tunstall

The opening party will be exclusively for weekend ticket holders only.

There is a range of camping options available with standard camping, VIP camping and campervan, and caravan camping.

The festival will also have a children’s area and for anyone who likes to dress up - the theme of the weekend will be Rockstars & Popstars.

The festival site will include a vintage style fun fair for all ages and there will be a Silent Disco which kicks off at 11pm and runs until 2am.

KT Tunstall

Own food and drink will not be allowed on site, but there will be a variety of food stalls and bars.

Flashpoint Festival is at Rockingham Castle in Corby on July 14, 15, and 16.

Tickets are on sale now and cost from £85 for adult weekend passes or £105 for all three days with camping.
