The Yards in Kettering will be hosting Carnival Electronique on Saturday to coincide with the town’s carnival.

The event will feature a mixture of 15 local and national DJs playing a range of electronic dance music over 11 hours.

DJs playing include Darren Fletcher, DJ Ripper, DJ Bubble, Paddy Kearns, Deadline, Steve James vs Lusty, Stacey James, Torro vs. Rob Peatman, Guy Garrett, JonnieDarko and Frisky Family.

There will also be circus acts and a light show in the evening.

Cllr Michael Brown said: “Kettering and Northamptonshire has a proud electronic music heritage that often goes unnoticed. Carnival Electronique does not aim to distract from the main carnival experience but to compliment it.”

Music is from 10.30am until 9.30pm.

The Yards is in Kettering’s Cultural Quarter opposite Mews Café and Aura Bar.

Admission is free.
