Try against Ospreys so sweet for former Scarlets star North
North moved to Northampton from Scarlets, who are fierce rivals of Ospreys, during the summer.
The Wales wing admits he hasn’t had too much luck against Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium in seasons gone by.

And he said: “I’m happy to have got over the whitewash. I’ve been there many times but not come away with the win so it was nice to put one on the Ospreys as an ex-Scarlet.”
North’s try brought Sunday’s encounter to life after a stale first half that saw Stephen Myler, with four penalties, send Saints in 12-3 up at the break.
George Pisi and Glenn Dickson also touched down during the second half, with Northampton securing a win that gives them a slim chance of making the quarter-finals.

“We needed to pump the pace up to how we wanted to play and that (try) helped us kick on. It was nice to have a bit of space and time. Happy days.
“Ospreys did come back into it. They are a quality outfit, a tough team to play at home, but that was more down to our lack of concentration, keeping the ball and keeping it tidy.
“It was quite close towards the end.”
