Charley Hull found out how tough life can be in senior golf as she bowed out of the Women’s British Open.
After the postponement of day two because of high winds, Kettering golfer Hull resumed today looking to follow up her excellent opening-round one-under-par 71.
However, having birdied the first hole she dropped shots at the next two.
Another dropped shot was followed up with a birdie at the 11th only for her to hit seven at the par five 14th.
She then went bogey, double bogey over the 15th and 16th meaning she had dropped five shots in three holes.
With the cut being set at five over she could not afford to drop any more if she was to take part in Sunday’s closing two rounds.
But, finishing on the par-three ninth, she produced the third double bogey of her her round to finish on seven over par.
